Overview

We are seeking a friendly and qualified Server to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional guest services, ensure food safety and sanitation standards are met, and contribute to a welcoming dining experience. This role offers an opportunity to develop skills in hospitality, food handling, and customer service within a quick-paced food industry setting. Prior restaurant experience is required. The position involves working in a team-oriented setting where attention to detail and excellent communication are essential.

Duties
Take customer orders accurately using POS systems
Serve food, beverages, and alcoholic beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
Understand and memorize menu to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling responsibilities
Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures are followed at all times
Assist with food preparation and kitchen tasks as needed to support smooth operations
Maintain cleanliness of tables, dining areas, and service stations in accordance with sanitation standards
Provide attentive guest services by addressing questions,



special requests, and ensuring overall satisfaction
Manage time effectively during busy service periods to deliver timely service without compromising quality
Must be able to work on weekends and evenings

Skills
Experience with POS systems
Must have smart serve certificate
Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction
Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures
Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment with excellent time management skills
Basic math skills for cashiering, billing, and upselling products
Restaurant or food industry experience is mandatory; willingness to learn is essential
Effective communication skills for interacting with guests and team members
Knowledge of food preparation, serving techniques, and hospitality standards is a plus
Ability to handle cash accurately and perform basic math calculations confidently
A positive attitude with a focus on teamwork, guest services, and hospitality excellence

Pay: $17.60 per hour
