Duties
Engage with customers both inside the store and through outside sales visits to understand their renovation needs and provide tailored solutions
Conduct product demonstrations, including showcasing features of remodeling materials, fixtures, and construction tools
Manage point-of-sale (POS) transactions accurately, including cash handling and processing payments efficiently
Upsell complementary products and services to maximize customer value and enhance sales outcomes
Develop robust account management relationships by following up on inquiries, providing expert advice, and ensuring customer satisfaction
Coordinate with marketing efforts to promote high-end sales campaigns and special promotions
Requirements
Proven experience in outside sales, retail sales, or inside sales within the home improvement, renovation, or construction sectors
Solid negotiation skills with the ability to close high-end sales confidently
Excellent communication skills in English; multilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customer bases
Knowledge of renovation processes, construction practices, and merchandising strategies
Basic math skills for estimating costs, measurements, and project planning
Experience with POS systems, cash handling, cashiering, and account management procedures
Exceptional organizational skills to manage multiple customer accounts and merchandising displays effectively
