We are looking for hardworking and reliable crew members to join our Fiber Drop Crew. This position involves outdoor work, extensive digging, trenching, and installation of fiber-optic cable. If you are currently apart of a Drops crew or Utility Construction Crew we will consider training immediately for a Drilling/ Locating position.
Job Duties
Dig trenches and pathways for fiber drops
Install and place fiber-optic cable
Work with hand tools and digging equipment
Complete backfilling and site cleanup
Follow job-site safety procedures
Work outdoors in various weather conditions
Perform physically demanding work, including frequent lifting, bending, and digging
Qualifications
Previous construction, landscaping, utility, or fiber experience is an asset
Comfortable with heavy physical labor and lots of digging
Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a crew
Valid driver’s license is an asset
Must be safety-conscious and willing to learn
