Responsibilities
Prepare and serve a variety of coffee, tea, and specialty beverages with precision and care.
Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems, including Micros POS, to process transactions efficiently and accurately.
Handle cash, credit card payments, and register reconciliation with attention to detail.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workspace, ensuring food safety standards are met at all times.
Assist with food preparation and food handling tasks to support overall service flow.
Provide friendly, attentive customer service by engaging with guests, answering questions, and addressing concerns promptly.
Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure quick service without compromising quality.
Skills
Previous barista experience or food service experience is highly desirable.
Knowledge of POS systems, especially Micros POS, for smooth transaction processing.
Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and excellent communication abilities.
Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Basic math skills for cash handling, change calculation, and order accuracy.
Understanding of food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures.
Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks during peak hours.
