Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Automotive Service Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will perform diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on a variety of vehicles, ensuring safety, reliability, and optimal performance. Your mechanical expertise will help keep our customers’ vehicles running smoothly and efficiently.
Duties
Conduct comprehensive inspections and diagnostics of vehicles using schematics and electrical testing tools
Perform repairs on automotive systems including engines, brakes, transmissions, and electrical components
Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and heavy machinery such as forklifts, and industrial equipment for repairs and maintenance
Follow manufacturer specifications and schematics to troubleshoot issues accurately
Maintain detailed service records and communicate repair progress clearly to customers
Assist in routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, fluid replacements, and system calibrations
Skills
Proven dealership or automotive repair experience with a solid mechanical background
Skilled in welding, electrical troubleshooting, and schematics interpretation
Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and specialized diagnostic equipment effectively
Solid customer service skills with the ability to explain technical issues clearly
Experience working with HVAC systems related to the automotive industry.
Capable of heavy lifting safely during repairs or parts replacement.
