Job Overview
We are seeking 8 dedicated Farm Labourers to join our agricultural team. Starting January 04, 2027 to August 02, 2027 for 48 - 60 hours per week. Rate of pay is $17.00/hour.

This role involves hands-on work in crop cultivation, maintenance and farm operations. The ideal candidate will be physically capable, reliable and eager to contribute to the successful operation of our farm. Prior experience in horticulture or farm machinery is a plus, but we are willing to provide training for motivated individuals. This position offers an chance to develop practical skills in farming and equipment maintenance within a agile workplace.

Work Location 779 North Medford Road, Canning, Nova Scotia

Duties
Assist with cleaning orchards, planting trees, harvesting, packing and crop tree care care activities
Conduct general farm and orchard upkeep including pruning,



bin repair, weeding, planting, tree care throughout the season, soil preparation, packing and harvesting fruit.
Assist with loading and unloading supplies and harvested crops
Follow safety protocols during all farm operations

Qualifications
There is no educational requirement for this position. Training will be provided.
Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
Ability to follow safety guidelines diligently during all tasks
Prior experience in farming or agricultural work is a plus, but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates

Pay: $17.00 per hour
