Overview

We are seeking a friendly and detail-oriented Cashier to join our retail team. The ideal candidate will provide excellent customer service, handle transactions accurately, and contribute to a positive shopping experience. This role requires strong communication skills, organizational abilities, and the ability to work efficiently in a rapid-paced workplace. Bilingual skills and experience with retail sales or POS systems are a plus. The Cashier will be responsible for managing cash handling, upselling products, and ensuring the sales area remains organized and inviting.

Responsibilities
Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional customer service throughout their shopping experience
Operate POS systems accurately to process sales, returns, and exchanges
Handle cash, credit card transactions, and other payment methods with precision
Assist customers with product inquiries, demonstrations, and upselling opportunities
Maintain knowledge of store products, promotions, and merchandising standards
Keep the checkout area clean, organized, and fully stocked with necessary supplies




Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth store operations
Manage time efficiently during busy periods to minimize wait times and enhance customer satisfaction

Requirements
Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are highly desirable
Previous experience in retail sales or cashiering preferred but not required
Familiarity with POS systems and basic math skills for cash handling
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
Strong phone etiquette and customer service orientation
Ability to demonstrate product knowledge through demos and upselling techniques
Good time management skills to handle multiple customers efficiently
Merchandising knowledge is a plus but not mandatory
