Job Description

Evergreen Drycleaners is looking for a reliable and hardworking Part time Dry Cleaning Assistant to join our team in Sherwood Park.

The successful candidate will help with cleaning, ironing, pressing and preparing clothing and other garments. Previous dry-cleaning experience is preferred.

Responsibilities
Assist with cleaning and processing clothing and garments
Iron, press and steam clothing
Sort garments according to cleaning requirements
Check clothing for stains, damage and special instructions
Hang, fold and package completed orders
Keep the work area clean and organized
Handle clothing carefully
Assist with other duties as needed

Qualifications
Previous dry-cleaning, laundry, ironing or garment-care experience is preferred
Reliable and punctual




Strong attention to detail
Able to follow instructions
Able to work independently and as part of a team
Comfortable standing for extended periods
Able to perform repetitive tasks and lift light-to-moderate loads
Reliable transportation to the Sherwood Park location

Part-time

Compensation

Starting pay is Alberta minimum wage, with the possibility of higher pay based on previous dry-cleaning, laundry, ironing or pressing experience.
