Job Summary
We are currently hiring one Millwright Millwright. These roles involve preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, equipment repair, and supporting overall plant operations.
We are open to considering Millwright Apprentices with relevant hands‑on experience, especially those who demonstrate solid mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
This position requires relocation to Gibsons, BC, and is expected to continue until September 2029. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, with 8-hour shifts.
Duties
Respond to emergency breakdowns and perform efficient repairs
Conduct vibration analysis
Execute the preventative maintenance program
Troubleshoot equipment and mechanical failures
Perform laser alignments
Complete minor welding and fabrication tasks
Manage parts inventory and maintenance supplies
Accurately complete QA/QC and preventative maintenance documentation
Collaborate with and assist other trades
Perform other duties as assigned to support maintenance operations
Qualifications:
Certified Millwright (Industrial Mechanic) or equivalent experience
Millwright Apprentices with relevant industrial or mechanical experience are welcome to apply
Robust troubleshooting and mechanical diagnostic skills
Experience with vibration analysis or laser alignment considered an asset
Basic welding and fabrication skills
Ability to read technical drawings and manuals
Robust communication and teamwork
Commitment to working safely

Pay: $45.00-$50.54 per hour
