Responsibilities
Monitor entry and exit points to control access for attendees, staff, vendors, and contractors using established security protocols
Conduct regular surveillance used to observe activity across event venues and parking areas
Enforce security policies to prevent theft, vandalism, or unauthorized access through vigilant observation and intervention
Respond promptly to incidents or emergencies by coordinating with law enforcement or emergency services as needed
Perform routine patrols of event sites and parking lots to identify potential hazards or suspicious activity
Maintain detailed logs of security activities, incidents, and visitor movements to ensure accurate record-keeping
Assist in loss prevention efforts by identifying theft or fraudulent activities and implementing preventative measures
Experience
Prior experience in security services, parking management or related fields is highly desirable
Familiarity with surveillance procedure and protocols is essential
Knowledge of loss prevention techniques to deter theft and manage crowd control effectively
Strong observational skills with the ability to quickly assess situations and respond appropriately
Excellent communication skills for interacting with diverse groups including law enforcement personnel, event staff, and visitors
Ability to remain alert during long shifts while maintaining professionalism and composure in high-pressure situations
