Our client, a Canadian family-owned bakery, is looking for an experienced Industrial Electrician to join their team.

This is a long-term opportunity through our agency for an experienced electrician who wants to build a career in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.

Shift: Afternoon – 3:30 PM to 11:30 PM

Key Responsibilities
Read and interpret electrical drawings, blueprints, schematics, and electrical code specifications.
Install, inspect, replace, and repair industrial electrical wiring, receptacles, switch boxes, conduits, feeders, cables, lighting fixtures, and other electrical components.
Test electrical and electronic equipment and components for continuity, current, voltage, and resistance.
Maintain, repair, install, and test switchgear, transformers, switchboards, meters, regulators, and reactors.
Maintain, repair, test, and install electrical motors, generators, alternators, industrial batteries, and hydraulic/pneumatic electrical control systems.
Troubleshoot and repair industrial electrical and electronic control systems and related equipment.
Perform preventive maintenance programs and maintain accurate maintenance records.
Install, maintain,



and calibrate industrial instrumentation and related devices as required.
Support reliable operation of equipment in a quick-paced food manufacturing facility.

Qualifications
High school diploma or GED.
Journeyman experience or completion of an apprenticeship program.
Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems, hand tools, and industrial equipment.
Knowledge of applicable electrical codes and regulations.
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical documents.
Robust verbal and written communication skills.
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and make sound decisions.
Comfortable performing physically demanding tasks, including lifting, climbing ladders, crawling, and working around industrial equipment.
Previous experience in food manufacturing, or other food-processing settings is highly preferred.

Pay: $40.00-$44.00 per hour
