Hi all sugar lovers, if you love cake this is the place to be! We're a cute shop with a fun little team, come join us! ThimbleCakes is hiring a part time front of house and prep baker team member! We are looking for someone with a love of baking and an eye for detail who enjoys working in a small team.

This position consists of morning, daytime, and evening shifts. Friday and Saturday availability is required.

Responsibilities:
Greet customers with a friendly and positive attitude
Take orders and chat about our delicious treats!
Prepare, bake and decorate a variety of baked goods, including cakes, cupcakes, cookies, scones, etc.
Fulfill daily orders
Follow recipes and designs to ensure all products meet quality standards
Clean and maintain kitchen and front of house area and all equipment

Requirements/Skills:




Prior experience in the food industry
Strong communication skills
Excellent organizational skills
Robust attention to detail
Time management skills
Ability to work as a team in a rapid-paced environment

Must have a food handlers certificate or willing to complete one upon hiring.

This role may require employees to be on their feet for 8 hours/day with some heavy lifting.
