Retail Sales & Inventory Associate – JoJo’s Emporium

JoJo’s Emporium is looking for a reliable, organized, and enthusiastic Retail Sales & Inventory Associate to join our team!

This is a permanent part time position, Monday to Friday from 11:00 AM–3:00 PM, with a starting wage of $18.50/hour.

The primary focus of this position will be receiving and processing current inventory, tagging merchandise, steaming clothing, organizing inventory, and maintaining a clean and organized store, while also assisting customers and supporting the sales floor as needed.

Key Responsibilities
Receiving and processing incoming inventory
Unpacking, checking, tagging, and preparing merchandise for the sales floor
Organizing and maintaining inventory storage areas
Steaming and preparing clothing and textiles for display
Maintaining a clean, organized, and visually appealing store
Restocking and organizing merchandise on the sales floor
Assisting with merchandising and displays
Providing friendly and knowledgeable customer service
Assisting customers with product selection and recommendations
Processing transactions accurately through the POS system
Handling cash, debit, and credit transactions
Assisting with general store upkeep and other day-to-day tasks




Working independently to ensure inventory and store organization tasks are completed efficiently

Qualifications
Reliable, dependable, and able to work independently
Solid organizational skills and attention to detail
Friendly, positive, and qualified attitude
Comfortable working with inventory and completing repetitive organizational tasks
Previous experience receiving and processing inventory is an asset
Retail experience is an asset
Experience with POS systems is an asset
Strong communication and customer service skills
Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a busy retail environment
Ability to lift approximately 40 lbs and move boxes and merchandise as required
