Overview

We are seeking a friendly and energetic Dental Hygienist for a temporary position working three days per week. Monday's 8:30am to 4:30pm Wednesdays 8am-5pm Thursdays 8:30am-4:30pm. Pay to be discussed based on experience . Position would start end of October 2026 and end late March 2027. This role offers an excellent opportunity to join a caring team committed to enhancing patient smiles and promoting oral health. The ideal candidate will be passionate about patient care, detail-oriented, and eager to contribute to a positive dental experience. Competetive wages based on experience and fit with the position. We have a full time Rover to assist with charting, perio charting and room changeover. 1 hour recalls for adults.

Duties
Perform professional dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing teeth to promote optimal oral health




Assist with patient education on oral hygiene practices and treatment plans
Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed, ensuring patient comfort and safety
Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments in accordance with infection control protocols
Support the dental team with chairside assistance during various procedures, including orthodontics and pediatrics
Maintain accurate patient records using Abeldent dental management software
Provide exceptional customer service by addressing patient questions and ensuring a positive experience

Requirements
Valid license as a Registered Dental Hygienist in your region
Experience with Abeldent or similar dental practice management software is preferred
Previous dental office experience demonstrating excellent customer service skills
Robust understanding of infection control protocols and sterilization procedures
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team workplace
