Overview

We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Floating Cashier to join our team. In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service, accurately processing transactions, and helping to create a positive and effective shopping experience for all customers. As a Floating Cashier, you will work across multiple store locations and must be available for a variety of shifts, including morning (6:30 AM – 2:30 PM), evening (2:15 PM – 10:15 PM), and occasionally mid-day shifts (10:00 AM – 6:00 PM). Your flexibility, reliability, and commitment to excellent customer service will be essential in ensuring each customer feels welcomed, valued, and well taken care of.

Responsibilities
Float between various store locations as assigned, adapting quickly to different teams and environments.
Work flexible shifts including early mornings (6:30 AM – 2:30 PM), evenings (2:15 PM – 10:15 PM), and occasional mid-day shifts (10:00 AM – 6:00 PM).
Greet customers warmly and create a friendly, welcoming environment.
Accurately process sales transactions using POS systems, including cash, debit and credit.
Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked checkout area.




Provide prompt and skilled assistance to customers with questions, concerns, or returns.
Ensure compliance with store policies and procedures, including cash handling and loss prevention.
Balance cash drawers and complete closing procedures accurately at the end of each shift.
Report any customer issues, discrepancies, or operational concerns to store management promptly.
Assist in maintaining a safe and secure environment for customers and employees.

Requirements
Previous experience in cashiering or retail sales is preferred.
Strong communication skills in English; bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus.
Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced workplace.
Strong customer service orientation with an emphasis on positive interactions.

Pay: $17.00-$17.50 per hour
