Overview
We are seeking a friendly and professional server/ Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering exceptional customer service and creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests. This role involves preparing and serving beverages, managing POS transactions, and ensuring a protected and enjoyable environment for all patrons. Previous restaurant or food service experience is preferred, along with solid time management and multitasking skills. The Bartender will play a key role in enhancing the guest experience through excellent service and beverage knowledge.
Duties
Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with standard recipes and customer preferences
Operate POS systems such as Micros POS to process orders accurately and efficiently
Handle cash transactions, including cashiering and cash handling responsibilities
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety and food handling standards
Ensure responsible serving practices by monitoring guest alcohol consumption
Engage with guests to provide excellent customer service, addressing inquiries and special requests
Restock bar supplies, garnishes,
and beverages as needed throughout shifts
Follow all food safety regulations and hospitality protocols to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff
Experience
Previous experience in restaurant or food industry settings is highly desirable
Familiarity with POS systems like Micros POS or similar platforms is preferred
Strong knowledge of food safety, food handling, and responsible alcohol serving practices
Excellent time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently
Proven ability to deliver outstanding customer service in a fast-paced environment
Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and managing tabs effectively
Experience in serving, cashiering, or hospitality roles will be considered an asset
