Colpitts Developments is currently looking for an Apartment Maintenance Technician to join our team. This individual works with the Apartment Maintenance Supervisor to provide the maintenance necessary to ensure our rental properties are being kept up to management standards.
The priority of the job is to provide fast, friendly, and high-quality maintenance service for our residents.
Description of work:
Related skills and experience in maintaining residential homes and rental units.
Basic electrical: Changing outlets, switches, and fixtures.
Plumbing: Changing or repairing taps, clogged sinks, and toilets.
Carpentry skills: Replacing repairing hardwood, laminate, and ceramic floors. Drywall repairs and finish work of all types.
Prep for turn over of vacant units, suites.
Pick up, clean grounds and common areas.
Assist with performing and documenting preventative maintenance.
On call rotation is required.
Snow removal.
Preference will be given to applicants with the skills listed above.
Required:
Robust customer service skills, handling service calls in a timely manner.
Solid English language skills to communicate with tenants and team members.
Valid driver’s license with clean driver abstract is required.
Clean criminal record check.
Job Type: Full time
Pay: $18.00-$25.00 per hour
