Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Sushi Chef to join our culinary team. In this role, you will craft high-quality sushi dishes, maintain impeccable food presentation, and ensure a memorable dining experience for our guests. Your expertise in sushi preparation and culinary skills will contribute significantly to our restaurant’s success.

Duties
Prepare and assemble sushi dishes with precision, creativity, and consistency according to established recipes and standards
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sushi station, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations
Source fresh ingredients daily, inspecting quality and freshness before use
Collaborate with the kitchen team to coordinate service flow and manage workload efficiently
Educate junior staff on sushi techniques, presentation, and safety protocols
Monitor inventory levels of sushi ingredients and communicate needs for restocking
Uphold high standards of hygiene, safety,



and professionalism at all times

Requirements
Proven experience as a Sushi Chef or similar culinary role specializing in Japanese cuisine
Strong knowledge of sushi preparation techniques, knife skills, and ingredient handling
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Excellent understanding of food safety standards and sanitation practices
Passion for culinary arts with an eye for presentation and quality assurance
Ability to work flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
Experience working in a restaurant setting with a focus on customer satisfaction
