As a Mechanical Quality Control Inspector, you will be responsible for developing inspection plans, maintaining compliance with safety rules, and documenting all inspection activities. Your role is essential in ensuring that all materials and processes meet both customer specifications and industry standards. You will actively promote safety awareness and collaborate with internal and external parties.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain and generate mechanical inspection and test documentation
• Ensure compliance with technical drawings and standards
• Conduct checks to verify material compliance
• Initiate reports for non-conformance issues
• Cooperate with management to enhance quality procedures
Requirements:
• Secondary school education in QA/QC or equivalent
• 1-3 years mechanical experience required
• W178 Level 2 visual weld inspection certification necessary
• Experience with ASME Code and Nuclear/ISO standards
• Solid attention to detail and communication skills
Contribute to the successful implementation of nuclear QA/QC standards at Aecon’s pioneering Darlington project.
