Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and productive Server/Cashier to join our dynamic restaurant team. This role involves providing excellent customer service, accurately handling transactions, and ensuring a positive dining experience for all guests. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food service, strong communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Prior restaurant experience and familiarity with food handling and safety protocols are highly valued.

Duties
Take customer orders accurately and efficiently using POS systems such as Micros POS
Process payments through cash handling and credit card transactions
Serve food and beverages to guests while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation
Assist in food preparation and ensure food safety standards are met
Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales
Maintain cleanliness of dining area, counters, and kitchen stations in accordance with sanitation regulations
Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service
Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest inquiries and resolving issues promptly
Support team members in various restaurant operations as needed





Skills
Experience with food service, cashiering, and food handling in a restaurant or food industry setting
Proficiency with POS systems, especially Micros POS, for order processing and transactions
Solid customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests
Knowledge of food safety, sanitation standards, and proper kitchen procedures
Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and calculating bills accurately
Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables or orders efficiently during peak hours
Ability to upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and sales performance
Food preparation skills and restaurant experience are preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential
