Duties
Greet guests warmly upon arrival and manage seating arrangements efficiently to minimize wait times
Take accurate orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS, ensuring all details are correct
Handle cash transactions, process payments, and give accurate change with basic math skills
Provide friendly guest services by answering questions about menu items, specials, and restaurant policies
Assist with food handling and food preparation tasks to support kitchen staff when needed
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in dining areas, service stations, and front-of-house spaces
Upsell menu items or specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service and guest satisfaction
Experience
Previous food service experience in a restaurant or food industry setting is highly preferred
Familiarity with POS systems, especially Micros POS, is advantageous
Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques
Experience in serving or hospitality roles that involve guest interaction and multitasking
Basic math proficiency for cashiering, cash handling, and transaction accuracy
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
