Overview

We are seeking a motivated and dependable Roofer/Labourer to join our dynamic construction team. This role offers an exciting prospect to work on diverse roofing projects, contributing to the installation, repair, and maintenance of roofing systems. As a key team member, you will be instrumental in ensuring quality craftsmanship and safety on every job site. Must have a valid drivers license and transportation.

Responsibilities
Assist with the installation, repair, and maintenance of roofing systems using various hand tools and equipment
Prepare job sites by clearing debris, setting up scaffolding, and organizing materials for efficient workflow
Perform heavy lifting of roofing materials such as shingles, plywood, metal sheets, and other supplies safely and effectively
Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to ensure accurate installation procedures
Apply caulking and sealants to ensure waterproofing and weatherproofing of roofing structures
Use carpentry skills for framing, cutting, fitting,



and finishing work related to roofing projects
Support the team with general handyman tasks around the job site as needed to maintain safety and productivity

Experience
Prior construction experience is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to learn is highly valued
Familiarity with hand tools such as hammers, drills, saws, and measuring devices
Experience with carpentry or general handyman work is advantageous
Ability to read blueprints or technical drawings is a plus
Physical strength and stamina for heavy lifting and prolonged outdoor work are essential
Knowledge of caulking techniques for waterproofing applications is beneficial

Pay: $25.00-$40.00 per hour
