BarBurrito Crew Member – Job Description

Job Summary

We are looking for friendly, reliable, and hardworking Crew Members to join our BarBurrito team. Crew Members are responsible for providing excellent customer service, preparing fresh food according to BarBurrito standards, maintaining cleanliness, and helping the restaurant operate efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner.
Take customer orders accurately and provide excellent customer service.
Prepare burritos, bowls, tacos, quesadillas, and other menu items according to company standards.
Follow proper portion sizes, recipes, and food presentation standards.
Prepare ingredients and complete daily food prep as assigned.
Maintain proper food temperatures and follow food safety procedures.
Operate the POS system and process cash, debit, and credit card transactions accurately.
Keep the front counter, kitchen, prep area, dining area, and storage areas clean and organized.
Wash dishes, utensils, equipment, and other kitchen items as required.
Refill ingredients, sauces, packaging, and other supplies throughout the shift.




Check stock levels and inform the manager or shift leader when products are running low.
Follow opening and closing procedures when assigned.
Minimize food waste and avoid over-portioning.
Follow all health, safety, sanitation, and workplace policies.
Work cooperatively with other team members during busy periods.
Follow instructions provided by the Manager or Shift Leader.
Arrive on time and be ready to work in the required uniform.
Perform other restaurant duties as assigned by management.

Requirements
Previous restaurant or customer-service experience is an asset but not required.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Reliable, punctual, and responsible.
Willingness to learn food preparation and customer-service procedures.
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform regular restaurant cleaning and stocking duties.
Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays when required.

Pay: $17.60 per hour
