Wireline Operator / Driver
Versa-Line Services – Red Deer, AB
Versa-Line Services is actively hiring for the wireline operator (driver) position working out of the Red Deer shop location. Successful candidates will gain valuable experience in both Electric line and slickline wireline well interventions.
Required Qualifications

-Resident of Canada
At least 18 years of age
Class 3 or 1 License
Provide a driver abstract
Able to pass a pre-employment drug screen
Responsibilities – Include but are not limited to -
Complete driver evaluation
Able to work out of town for up to 15 days
Able to lift 50 lbs with long periods of standing
Able to work in all weather conditions
Keep up to date drivers log book
Perform pre / post trip paperwork on heavy units, pickups and trailers
Drive units to location following all laws and DOT regulations




Spot and document hazards in the field and shop area
Perform maintenance / service all types of company vehicles with supervision
Assist supervisors with pre- job planning and preparation
Assist supervisors with secure execution of wireline interventions
Rebuild basic wireline tools under supervision
-Willing to Provide Oilfield Tickets
Compensation for Position
Hourly Rate Based on Experience
