We’re looking for an organized and experienced Medical Administrator to join our excellent team and support the day-to-day operations of our clinic. This role helps keep the clinic running smoothly, supports the medical team, and contributes to a positive, healthy, and professional work environment for both staff and patients.
Responsibilities
General office duties such as handling phone, email and fax inquiries, as well as in-person; and appointment bookings
Register patients on arrival, verify demographics, and update patient records
Perform basic clinical support tasks such as blood pressure measurements
Fax, Receive and process referrals and requisitions
Maintain accurate patient information, including medications
Ensure examination rooms and front desk areas are clean and organized
Follow clinic policies, privacy legislation, and patient safety standards
ECG and Holter hookups as required (training provided)
Qualifications & Skills
Minimum 1 year experience as a medical office administrator
Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
Commitment to quality patient care, strong work ethics
Basic computer and EMR skills
Knowledge of medical terminology (cardiology an asset)
Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work in a quick-paced environment
Eligible to work in Canada; criminal record check required
Schedule: Day shifts, Afternoon shifts (12 hours shifts & Saturdays as needed)
Pay: $19.00-$24.00 per hour
