Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Ophthalmic Technician to join our team. In this role, you will play a vital part in providing exceptional patient care and supporting the ophthalmology practice. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, a compassionate approach to patient interactions, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced medical environment.

Duties
Assist ophthalmologists during examinations and procedures by preparing patients and equipment.
Perform preliminary tests, including visual acuity tests, tonometry, OCT, Visual Fields and retinal imaging.
Operate and maintain Ophthalmic equipment.
Document patient information accurately in electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
Communicate effectively with patients regarding their treatment plans and follow-up care.
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth patient flow and high-quality care.

Experience




Previous experience in ophthalmology or a related field is highly desirable.
Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
Knowledge of medical terminology related to ophthalmology is essential.
Strong interpersonal skills to provide excellent patient care and support.
Ability to work well in a quick-paced, team oriented workplace.
Detail-oriented and able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
