Five Star Motor Sports is seeking to fill the position of Service Writer. Our ideal candidate is energetic and outgoing and takes pride in the repair, maintenance and customization of powersports machines. We are an exclusive Polaris dealership and sell and service both.

Meet and speak with customers and gathering the required information to diagnose, record and identify the maintenance and repair work needed.

Perform estimates for parts and time required for warranty and repair service.

Work closely with the shop to schedule service and repair appointments

Document and complete repair orders and all required documentation.

Monitor progress of repair and maintenance to keep customer appraised of the status of their vehicle.

Discuss with customer additional recommended or required parts and/or services.

Collect payment for completed orders, ensure customer is satisfied with service done and any concerns have been addressed.

Follow all company policies and procedures as outlined.

Perform any other duties as assigned.

This role is based on 39.5 hours a week (Mon & Sat: 9am-5pm, T-F: 9-530)

Qualifications





Excellent communication and customer service skills be it in person, on the phone or through text/email.

Possess aptitude to build and maintain interpersonal relations, both with customers and coworkers, ability to listen carefully and give exact instructions.

Basic knowledge and understanding of powersports industry.

Able to resolve problems and make decisions
