Pay Rate: $18.00 to $20.00 per hour. Chance to earn more depending on skills, qualification and leadership experience.
Job Description:
Ensure the safety and protection of residents and building property
Enforce access control
Internal and external foot patrolling of the building property
Respond and deescalate incidents
Prepare written reports as required
Monitor security camera and CCTV
Respond to resident requests
Build robust relationships with residents and contractors
Programming FOB’s and garage remotes
Minimum Requirements:
Valid Ontario Security Guard License
Valid work permit
Security background check
Moderate physical activity: standing and/or walking for entirety of shift
Solid interpersonal skills and customer service orientation
Remain calm and effectively perform in emergency situations
Adhere to our Code of Ethics in performing job requirements
Able to understand and follow specific instructions and procedures
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
Basic working knowledge of computers and how to write and answer email
