Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Short Order Cook to join our vibrant food service team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of quick-serve meals in a fast-paced environment. This role requires a solid focus on food safety, quality, and customer satisfaction, ensuring that each dish is prepared efficiently and to high standards. The Short Order Cook will play a key role in delivering excellent food service and maintaining the smooth operation of our kitchen.

Responsibilities
Prepare and cook menu items quickly and accurately according to established recipes and standards
Serve food to customers in a timely manner, ensuring presentation and quality meet expectations
Handle food preparation tasks such as chopping, assembling, and portioning ingredients
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including utensils, equipment, and work surfaces
Follow all food safety guidelines and proper handling procedures to ensure health standards are met
Assist with inventory management by monitoring stock levels and notifying management of supply needs
Ensure all food is stored correctly to prevent contamination or spoilage




Collaborate with team members to deliver efficient service during busy hours

Requirements
Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or food service within a restaurant or similar setting
Knowledge of food handling safety protocols and proper sanitation practices
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
Strong serving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction
Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team
Kitchen experience with familiarity in meal preparation techniques for various dishes
Knowledge of the food industry standards for quality, safety, and cleanliness
Flexibility to work during peak hours, including weekends or holidays if required

Pay: $17.60-$28.07 per hour
