Class 3 Roll-Off Driver

Our client is a leading organization specializing in hazardous materials management, construction, and environmental remediation in the Saanich Peninsula. They are committed to maintaining the highest safety and environmental standards while delivering critical projects that protect communities and ecosystems.

Our client is looking for a Class 3 Roll-Off Driver to join their growing team in the Saanich, Victoria, and Westshore areas. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for ensuring safe and efficient operations while maintaining excellent customer service.

Responsibilities
Safely operate roll-off trucks and associated equipment in compliance with company policies and transportation regulations.
Complete daily routes, including bin deliveries, exchanges, and removals.
Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues.
Secure loads properly to ensure protected transportation.
Communicate professionally with customers and team members.
Document site issues, incidents, hazards, and customer concerns as needed.
Maintain vehicle cleanliness, fuel logs, and required records.
Adhere to all safety procedures, PPE requirements, and provincial transportation regulations.

Qualifications




Valid Class 3 driver’s licence (manual transmission experience is an asset).
3+ years of commercial Class 3 driving experience.
Clean driver’s abstract with no major violations.
Experience operating roll-off trucks or similar heavy equipment is considered an asset.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including heavy lifting.
Knowledge of safety protocols for vehicle operation, load securement, and hazardous materials handling is an asset.
Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.

Work Location
Saanichton, BC (with travel required across South Vancouver Island and the Gulf Islands).

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $31.00-$33.00 per hour
