Commercial Transport Mechanic -

Job Duties & Responsibilities
Perform repairs on all types of heavy trucks and trailers
CVIP inspections
Use of various diagnostic software to assist in troubleshooting
Maintain a secure and clean working environment
Help train and guide apprentices to perform quality work safely
Qualifications
Red Seal Technician's preferred
Valid CVIP inspectors certificate preferred
Four years of Heavy Truck and Trailer repair experience
Positive attitude and motivation to perform quality work
Strong attention to detail

Salary information: $49 per hour (Red seal) up to $54.50 per hour (Red Seal, Foreman, night shift, 5yr bonus and CVIP inspector) Apprentice wage starts at 60% Red seal base wage.
Previous experience is required, but we are open to individuals with previous transferable skills such as: Heavy Duty Mechanic, Heavy Equipment Technician, Truck Mechanic, Automotive Mechanic, Service Technician
