We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Restaurant Staff to join our dynamic team. Previous restaurant experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided to ensure your success in this role.
Responsibilities
Prepare and assist with food items according to established recipes and safety standards
Operate POS systems such as Micros POS for order processing and cashiering duties
Greet customers, take orders, and serve food in a friendly and timely manner
Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and basic math calculations
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, dining areas, and kitchen equipment
Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales opportunities
Manage time effectively during busy hours to ensure prompt service
Follow food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures at all times
Assist with kitchen duties as needed, including basic food preparation and sanitation tasks
Requirements
Previous experience in food service or the food industry is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential
Robust customer service skills with a friendly attitude
Basic math skills for cash handling and POS operations
Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices
Ability to work efficiently in a quick-paced environment while managing multiple tasks
Excellent time management skills to ensure timely service during peak hours
Experience with restaurant POS systems such as Micros POS is a plus
Kitchen experience or food preparation skills are advantageous
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks related to food service operations
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.25-$20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15.0 – 35.0 per week
