Front Desk & Facility Attendant

The Deer Run Community Association (DRCA) is looking for a friendly, reliable, and organized Front Desk & Facility Attendant to join our team. This role is a combination of customer service, front desk, administration, and facility operations. The successful candidate will be an significant point of contact for our members, renters, tenants, volunteers, and community.

What you'll do:
Welcome and assist members, renters, tenants, and visitors.
Respond to phone, email, and in-person inquiries and assist with facility bookings.
Open and close the facility and complete routine facility checks.
Process payments, handle cash, and complete daily transaction records.
Maintain member, rental, booking, and other administrative information.
Complete general administrative tasks and assist with special projects and events.
Support event and rental set-up and tear-down as required.
Monitor the facility for cleanliness, safety, and security and report issues as needed.
Liaise with staff, contractors, volunteers, and renters to support smooth facility operations.
Use quieter periods at the front desk to complete administrative work, organize, follow up on tasks, and support projects.




Participate in cleaning, snow removal, and other duties required to maintain a safe and welcoming facility.

What we're looking for:
Previous customer service or front-line experience.
Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
Valuable computer and administrative skills; experience with Microsoft Office is an asset.
Strong organization and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently, take initiative, and manage multiple priorities.
Professional, friendly, and customer-focused approach.
Previous administrative, community, recreation, or non-profit experience is an asset.

Requirements:
Evening and weekend availability.
Comfortable working independently and alone during portions of a shift.
Ability to perform physical duties such as moving supplies, room set-up/tear-down, and snow removal.

This is a outstanding opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people but also likes having a variety of administrative and operational work to keep them busy throughout their shift.
