Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Low Voltage Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in automation systems, including Lutron, Savant and Crestron Home. As a Low Voltage Technician, you will be responsible for installing, programming, maintaining, and troubleshooting various low voltage systems in high-end residential settings alongside your co-workers. Your starting wage will be set based on experience.
Responsibilities
Install and programming of home automation systems.
Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting of existing low voltage systems to ensure optimal performance.
Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to accurately install wiring and equipment.
Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively during installation processes.
Collaborate with other technicians and contractors to complete projects on time and within specifications.
Provide technical support for computer hardware and networking issues related to low voltage systems.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Low Voltage Technician or similar role in the electrical or telecommunications field.
The ability to work with hand tools and power tools.
Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and technical documentation effectively.
Robust problem solving skills and attention to detail.
Great communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and clients.
Valid driver's license is required for travel to job sites.
