JOB SUMMARY

Under the general direction of the VLT Site Manager, the Security Officer will be responsible for patrolling, monitoring and providing a secure workplace for the employees and patrons.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Patrol the entire site both inside and outside.
Check ID for underage patrons entering the site.
Deal with intoxicated, rude, insubordinate patrons.
Pick up garbage inside and outside to maintain a clean site.
Keep stocked all site vending machines.
Wipe down all machines.
Provide light maintenance to entire VLT site
Assist in all large cash transfers to one area to another.
Maintain the terminals of all cash nightly as well as sorting the cash.
Make coffee and keep coffee area clean.




Light housekeeping to site area including bathrooms. Keeping bathrooms stocked.
Keep door and entrance free of snow & ice as well as all fire exits.

QUALIFICATIONS
Desired qualification Grade 12 or Grade 12 GED
Have a thorough knowledge of policies, procedures and rule governing the VLT site;
Good Customer service skills.
Have a positive working knowledge in written and verbal communications.
Have the ability to work cooperatively and effectively with fellow employees and public.
Be physically able to perform the duties required of the position.
