Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Telecommunications Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, splicing, testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance of fiber optic and telecommunications networks. This role requires a solid understanding of fiber optic infrastructure, telecommunications systems, and industry safety standards. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, capable of working independently in field environments, and committed to delivering high-quality network performance and customer satisfaction.

Duties
Perform fiber optic cable splicing, termination, and testing for residential installation.
Install, maintain, and repair telecommunications equipment and infrastructure.
Troubleshoot fiber optic and telecommunications network issues and perform corrective actions.
Install and configure telecommunications hardware, enclosures, and related equipment.
Ensure all work complies with company standards, customer requirements, and industry regulations.
Complete accurate documentation, test reports, and daily work records.
Adhere to all health, safety,



and environmental procedures while working in field and customer locations.
Coordinate with project managers, network engineers, and customers to ensure timely project completion.

Skills
Fiber optic splicing, termination, testing, and troubleshooting.
Installation, maintenance, and repair of telecommunications and fiber optic networks.
Knowledge of residential cable installation practices.
Robust troubleshooting and problem-solving skills for network and connectivity issues.
Familiarity with telecommunications equipment and industry standards.
Excellent communication, customer service, and teamwork abilities.
Strong attention to detail, safety awareness, and ability to work independently in field environments.

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
