We’re looking for an experiencedTechnical Manager to join ourHigh Prairie OSB Division, located in High Prairie , Alberta. Our mill has undergone anexciting major rebuild and modernization including the commissioning of a new continuous press which will makes us the most modern mill in North America .

- Experience in leading the organization and supervision of technical aspects ofprocess improvements, technology, research and development .
- Demonstratedknowledge of OSB/EWP (Engineered Wood Products) manufacturing processes .
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills .
- Commitment to safety.
- Focus on quality andcontinuous improvement.
- Strongstatistical knowledge andcomputer literacy.
- Post-secondary education in a related field is an asset.

In this role, you will:

- Lead with a strong focus on safety .
- Provide feedback and support to our Process Engineer and Process & Technical Coordinator.
- Assist in thedevelopment and improvement of products and processes .
- Stay on top of new industry developments and standards in technology and customer satisfaction in order torecommend, plan, and organize actions that will keep the mill current.
- Interact with our Sales and Production teams and keep the product cost model current.
- Use your knowledge of code requirements,



third-party testing agencies and experience in statistical process control toplan, organize and implement resin or mill trials .
