Job Description
Tuesdays to Saturdays 1:00 AM To 9:30 AM
Load and unload different types of freight from/to different trailers or stage it on the dock with forklift using our electronic handheld device
Use handheld device to note any exceptions - shortages/overages/damages/no bills
Mark materials with identifying information
Cube and/or reweigh materials as necessary using Dimensioner machine or manually when required.
Assist co-workers and drivers in loading, unloading or finding freight
Start heaters, placard trailers as required
Arrange freight in specified sequence for maximum usage of trailer space and take pictures per procedure.
Must take an active role in safety and maintenance of the warehouse by sweeping the floor, proper storage of dunnage, etc.
Other duties may be assigned
Qualifications
MUST have previous forklift experience
Must be punctual and have positive attendance
Cross dock experience preferred
Able to perform under pressure with tight deadlines
Able to lift 50 lbs, sometimes repetitive
Ability to multitask and manage various tasks successfully
Developed problem solving, critical thinking, decision making and judgment skills
G license & own transportation required
Willing to train the right applicant
