Our client is a leading manufacturing company seeking a General Labourer to join their growing team.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Able to do repetitive lifting/bending/stretching in a hot/humid/dusty workplace.
Maintains a secure and clean working environment by complying with health and safety and housekeeping practices, and use of personal protective equipment.
Following all company policies as described in the employee handbook.
Knowledge and skill in reading specific work instructions for a made-to-order product.
The ability to physically stand, bend, squat, and lift up to 60 lbs.
Complete all assigned tasks in a timely and efficient manner.
Follow all health and safety regulations when operating equipment.
Operates propane forklift (training will be provided)
Knowledge of standard measuring equipment (tape measures etc.).
Perform other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
2 years experience working in a manufacturing setting
Laser-focussed on delivering for the customer.
Works well under pressure and meets set deadlines.
Positive organizational, time management and prioritizing skills.
Ability to interpret and implement company policies and procedures.
Able to work outside
Able to operate forklift
