We are seeking a qualified, experienced, and organized Daycare Director to oversee the operations of a subsidized daycare in Chomedey, Laval. The Director is responsible for ensuring full compliance with Ministère de la Famille regulations, maintaining high-quality educational programming, supporting staff, and ensuring a protected, structured, and nurturing environment for children and families.

This role requires strong leadership, extensive knowledge of Quebec's subsidized childcare framework, and the ability to manage both people and operations with professionalism, and consistency.

Key Responsibilities
Manage the daily operations of the subsidized daycare.
Ensure compliance with all Ministère de la Famille regulations, policies, licensing requirements, and inspections.
Oversee administrative requirements, reporting, and documentation.
Create and manage staff schedules while ensuring staffing ratios remain compliant.
Manage admissions and maintain accurate child records using the Ministère de la Famille administrative systems.
Support educators in delivering high-quality educational programming.
Supervise, mentor, and support educators and other staff members.
Foster a positive,



respectful, and skilled workplace culture.
Communicate clearly and professionally with parents regarding policies, concerns, and child development.
Ensure children's health, safety, and well-being at all times.
Maintain accurate records, files, and documentation.
Address parent and staff concerns in a professional and timely manner.

Required Qualifications
DEC in Early Childhood Education
Minimum 2 years of management experience as a Daycare Director or Assistant Director
Experience using the Ministère de la Famille administrative systems.
Strong knowledge of Ministère de la Famille regulations, licensing requirements, inspections, and compliance standards.
Leadership and staff management experience.
Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general computer systems.
Fluency in French and English.

Pay: $28.00-$35.50 per hour
