Instructor - Hospitality Business Management Program

Due to its substantial growth, East West College is currently looking for an Instructor to teach our Hospitality Business Management Program at our Edmonton Campus. We are looking for an experienced, engaging, dedicated, and energetic individual who believes in providing quality education to our students. This position requires the Instructor to work :

Job Summary

This program is designed to prepare students with the knowledge of Hospitality Business Management. As the Instructor for the Hospitality Business Management Program, you will provide a positive, high-quality academic setting using appropriate teaching and learning techniques in compliance with East West College’s policies and procedures.

Courses you'll be teaching: Hospitality Bussiness Management Program related courses.

Job Duties
Facilitate learning in a classroom setting using the approved curriculum.
Develop different classroom strategies to ensure the students acquire the needed knowledge and skills.
Evaluate students’ performance through different academic assessments.
Prepare and submit academic reports (grading sheet, attendance,



academic exercises, and assessments) in a regular and timely manner.
Creates lesson plans and course schedules if needed.
Actively participate in curriculum improvement.
Other tasks required by the Campus Director.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or Master's Degree in Hospitality Management
1 year of teaching experience (preferred)
Relevant industry skills and knowledge: Hospitality Business Management
Proficient computer skills (Zoom, Microsoft Word, Excel & PowerPoint)
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Ability to plan, organize and prioritize tasks
Must be dependable, reliable, and punctual
Ability to problem-solve and process information

Pay: $24.00-$28.00 per hour

Education:
Bachelor's Degree (preferred)

Experience:

Licence/Certification:
