We are looking for a Production Associate – Dough Maker to join our production team. This is an entry-level, hands-on role focused on preparing and handling dough products for our bakery operation. Training is provided — no prior dough-making experience is required.
This position plays a key role in product quality and requires attention to detail, teamwork, and the ability to work in a quick-paced food production environment.
What You’ll Do
Prepare dough using recipes and batch sheets
Weigh and measure ingredients accurately
Operate dough-related equipment (training provided)
Set up and stock the dough station before production starts
Monitor dough consistency and report any issues
Complete basic production records and batch documentation
Keep your work area clean, organized, and food-safe
Follow company SOPs, GMPs, and health & safety procedures
Support other production areas when needed (cross-training provided)
Participate in daily and end-of-shift cleaning
What We’re Looking For
Basic understanding of English (spoken and written)
Reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions
Comfortable working on your feet for the full shift
Able to perform repetitive tasks in a production workplace
Team-oriented with a positive attitude
Attention to detail and commitment to quality
Physical & Food Safety Requirements
Frequent lifting of trays up to 15 lbs; occasional lifting up to 40 lbs
Must be able to stand for extended periods
Must be comfortable handling food ingredients including dairy, nuts, meat, pork, and shellfish
Must not have allergies to dairy or nuts
CSA-approved non-slip safety footwear required
