JNB Heavy Hauls is hiring a full-time Pilot Car / Escort Driver to support the protected movement of over-dimensional loads across Canada and cross-border into the U.S.

This position is best suited for individuals who are reliable, safety-focused, and comfortable spending extended time on the road.

Key Responsibilities:
Operate a company-issued pilot vehicle with required safety equipment (lights, flags, signage)
Escort heavy haul trucks in lead and/or chase positions
Maintain constant communication with drivers using 2-way radio
Identify and communicate hazards such as low clearances, construction zones, narrow roads, and traffic issues
Assist with loading, unloading, and securement of freight as required
Work closely with truck drivers and other team members in a team-oriented environment

Mandatory Requirements (Please Apply Only If You Meet All):
Minimum 21 years of age
Valid Class G license or higher
Eligible to cross the Canada/U.S. border (no restrictions)
Able to pass a drug test
Willing to be away from home for extended periods
Strong situational awareness and communication skills
Ability to work flexible,



irregular hours (including early mornings, evenings, and weekends)
Physically capable of assisting with securement and job site tasks

Assets (Not Required):
Previous pilot car / escort experience
Trucking or heavy haul industry experience
Knowledge of oversized load regulations
