We are currently seeking a reliable, compassionate, and safety-minded individual to join our team as a Bus Driver / Early Childhood Educator. Qualifications:
Valid Class 4 (or appropriate) driver's license with clean driver’s abstract
S endorsement or equivalent safety training
Current First Aid and CPR certification
Explicit Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening
Early Childhood Education Certification (Level 1, 2, or 3 in Alberta)
Experience working with young children in a licensed childcare setting
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to manage time effectively and balance dual responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

As Bus Driver:




Safely operate a daycare vehicle to transport children between home, school, and the child care facility.
Conduct daily vehicle checks and ensure maintenance logs are up to date.
Maintain a safe and orderly workplace on the vehicle.
Follow all traffic laws, licensing requirements, and safety regulations.
Build positive relationships with children and families during pick-up and drop-off.

As Early Childhood Educator:
Support the implementation of a play-based, child-led program that aligns with our philosophy and curriculum.
Supervise and engage children in daily indoor and outdoor activities.
Foster a nurturing, inclusive, and safe environment that supports children’s holistic development.
Communicate with families and team members in a skilled and respectful manner.
Contribute to documentation, observations, and planning as required.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.00-$18.00 per hour
