Rhodes Resto + Bar is hiring reliable and hardworking Kitchen Helpers and Line Cooks for our Midland location. This posting is for existing vacancies.

We are looking for team members who can work efficiently in a busy kitchen, follow food-safety procedures, and maintain a clean, organized, and professional work workplace.

Compensation: $17.60–$22.00 per hour, based on position and experience.

Responsibilities
Prepare ingredients and complete assigned food-preparation tasks
Cook and assemble menu items according to restaurant recipes and presentation standards
Set up and maintain assigned kitchen stations
Assist with receiving, organizing, labelling, and storing food supplies
Monitor food quality, freshness, portion sizes, and presentation
Restock ingredients, supplies, and kitchen stations as required
Maintain clean and organized preparation and cooking areas
Follow food-safety, sanitation, and workplace-safety requirements
Complete assigned opening, closing, and cleaning duties
Communicate clearly with kitchen and service team members
Support other kitchen duties as required during busy periods

Qualifications
Previous restaurant or kitchen experience is preferred, especially for the Line Cook position




Food Handler Certification is considered an asset
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen
Solid attention to cleanliness, organization, and food quality
Reliable attendance and punctuality
Ability to follow recipes, instructions, and restaurant procedures
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Availability to work scheduled shifts, including evenings, weekends, and statutory holidays
Ability to perform the essential duties of the position, with reasonable accommodation where required under applicable law
