Soluna Toronto are seeking an energetic and welcoming Host/Hostess to join our vibrant hospitality team! Responsibilities
Greet guests with a friendly, positive attitude as they arrive and depart, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere
Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently using SevenRooms or OpenTable
Answer incoming phone calls with professionalism, providing information and taking reservations as needed
Maintain an organized waiting list and communicate wait times clearly to guests
Assist with maintaining cleanliness and order in the host stand and waiting area
Escort guests to their tables, present menus, and communicate reservation details clearly




Handle guest concerns with empathy and professionalism, notifying a manager when necessary

Requirements
Previous experience as a Host/Receptionist in a high-volume or fine dining restaurant (required).
Proficiency with SevenRooms/OpenTable.
Excellent communication, customer service, and multitasking skills.
Positive, skilled attitude with strong attention to detail.
Ability to stay calm and organized during peak hours.
Punctuality and reliability with scheduled shifts.
Impeccable presentation and professional demeanor.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, agile environment.
Availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays.
