We are seeking a motivated and reliable Shuttle Driver to join our energetic transportation team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating shuttle vehicles to transport employees, visitors, and equipment between designated locations. Duties
Safely operate shuttle vehicles along predetermined routes, adhering to traffic laws and safety protocols
Transport employees, visitors, and equipment promptly and courteously between facilities or designated points
Conduct routine vehicle inspections to identify mechanical issues or maintenance needs, ensuring optimal vehicle performance
Communicate clearly with passengers, providing directions and answering questions in a professional manner
Maintain accurate logs of trips, mileage, and vehicle condition reports for record-keeping purposes
Assist with basic vehicle maintenance tasks such as checking fluid levels, tire pressure, and cleaning the shuttle interior and exterior
Follow all safety procedures and company policies to ensure a secure setting for passengers and staff
Qualifications
Valid Class 5 driver’s license with a clean driving record
5 Years of winter driving experience
Mechanical knowledge to perform basic vehicle inspections and troubleshooting
Proficiency in English for effective communication with team members and passengers
Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
Excellent communication skills to relay information clearly and professionally
Prior experience in commercial driving or shuttle operation is preferred but not required; training will be provided if necessary
Ability to remain alert during long shifts and handle unexpected situations calmly and efficiently
A successful criminal record check for vulnerable populations will be required prior to the start of employment
