Pre-Kindergarten Educational Services is a network of six locations throughout the city of Calgary offering high-quality preschool and Out of School Care programs for children. Our educators are valued members of a supportive, qualified team dedicated to creating engaging, safe, and nurturing environments for children.
We are seeking an Educator to join our Odyssey Out-of-School Care program at Sunnyside School, working with children in Kindergarten to Grade 6.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with school-aged children, is a robust team player, and is passionate about creating a positive environment where children can play, learn, and connect after the school day.
Hours:
Monday–Thursday: 3:15 PM – 6:00 PM
Friday: 1:00 PM – 6:00 PM
Compensation:
$23–$28 per hour based on level of certification (includes Government of Alberta wage top-up).
Responsibilities may include:
Supervision of children in Kindergarten–Grade 6
Leading games, creative activities, and outdoor play
Maintaining a secure, inclusive, and engaging program setting
Working collaboratively with the educator team
Requirements:
Alberta Early Childhood Educator Certification Level 2 or Level 3
Valid First Aid/CPR
Police Information Check with Vulnerable Sector Search
