Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Registered Speech and Language Pathologist to join our healthcare team. In this vital role, you will evaluate, diagnose, and treat a diverse range of communication and swallowing disorders across various patient populations. Your expertise will directly impact patients’ quality of life by providing personalized therapy plans, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring the highest standards of patient care. Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients’ speech, language, voice, fluency, cognition, and swallowing functions.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient’s needs and goals.
Deliver evidence-based therapy sessions to improve communication skills and swallowing safety.
Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
Maintain detailed documentation of evaluations, treatment progress, and discharge planning in compliance with regulatory standards.




Educate patients and their families about communication strategies and exercises to support ongoing improvement.
Participate in case management activities, including discharge planning and resource coordination for optimal patient outcomes.

Requirements
Valid licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) from the appropriate licensing board or authority.
Prior experience working in hospital settings or acute care environments is highly preferred.
Demonstrated experience in pediatrics.
Strong understanding of medical terminology relevant to speech-language pathology and healthcare documentation.
Proven ability to manage multiple cases efficiently while providing compassionate patient care.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate patients, families, and team members effectively.
Knowledge of current best practices in speech therapy techniques and case management processes.
