About the Client:

We're seeking a skilled caregiver to provide short-term support for a client with Multiple Sclerosis who uses a walker and wheelchair. The client experiences weakness and requires assistance with mobility, transfers, and personal care. The home has an Acorn stair lift for accessing different levels. This is temporary care for a spouse who values comfort, patience, and clear communication.

Responsibilities:

• Provide hands-on transfer assistance for a client with MS who experiences weakness • Support with bathing and dressing • Assist with walker and wheelchair mobility throughout the home • Help client navigate stairs using the Acorn stair lift when needed • Provide transportation for errands and appointments • Ensure client safety during all activities • Communicate clearly with family about care needs and any changes

What We're Looking For:





• Strong transfer skills - this is essential given the client's weakness from MS • Experience working with MS patients or similar neurological conditions • Comfortable assisting with walker and wheelchair mobility • Experience with bathing and dressing support • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation • Ability to operate or assist with stair lifts • English speaking • Calm, patient demeanor that helps the client feel comfortable • Transparent communicator who keeps family informed • Takes initiative while respecting the client's independence

Schedule:

This is a short-term or one-time care need. Specific days and hours to be discussed based on mutual availability.
